Naturelle WellEarth's Mission and Vision
We believe mental-health awareness begins wherever people are—and often begins at home.
About Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International
Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advancing culturally informed mental-health education, awareness, advocacy, and whole-person wellness for people of all backgrounds, cultures, ages, and communities.
Founded with strong Filipino-American and Asian American roots, Naturelle embraces the importance of culture in mental health while welcoming and serving everyone. Our programs are designed for youth, adults, families, caregivers, professionals, educators, healthcare providers, community leaders, older adults, and individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
We believe mental health is universal, but the way people understand, express, and respond to mental-health challenges can be shaped by culture, family, language, beliefs, traditions, life experiences, and community expectations. For this reason, Naturelle integrates cultural psychology, cultural awareness, and culturally informed mental-health education into our programs and outreach.
Our goal is to create communities where every person can feel seen, heard, supported, respected, and empowered.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance culturally informed mental-health education, advocacy, awareness, and whole-person wellness for all communities by empowering individuals and families with the knowledge, confidence, compassion, and resources to recognize mental-health challenges, reduce stigma, support one another, and connect people with appropriate help.
Through education, mentorship, partnerships, advocacy, community service, and our ThriveFirst program, we work to make mental-health awareness more accessible, inclusive, culturally responsive, and relevant to everyday life.
Mental health belongs to everyone.
Regardless of culture, profession, age, background, identity, or circumstance, everyone deserves the opportunity to understand mental health, receive support, and feel that they belong.
Our Vision
We envision a world where mental health is understood without shame, discussed without fear, and supported with compassion across all cultures, generations, families, workplaces, schools, and communities.
Naturelle seeks to build an inclusive global community where cultural differences are respected, human connection is strengthened, and individuals are empowered to use their voices, professions, experiences, and influence to support the mental well-being of others.
We envision a future where asking for help is recognized as strength, where culturally informed education helps bridge gaps in understanding, and where no individual feels excluded from the conversation about mental health.
Our Cultural Roots — Our Inclusive Mission
Naturelle WellEarth proudly recognizes its Filipino-American and Asian American roots and our commitment to increasing culturally informed mental-health awareness in communities where stigma, family expectations, generational differences, and cultural beliefs may sometimes make conversations about mental health difficult.
At the same time, our mission extends to everyone.
We welcome people from every cultural, racial, ethnic, professional, socioeconomic, and generational background.
Our cultural foundation does not limit whom we serve—it strengthens our understanding that every community has its own stories, experiences, traditions, strengths, and challenges surrounding mental health.
That understanding guides us toward greater inclusion, empathy, and cultural respect.
ThriveFirst — Mental Health Education for Everyone
Our globally accredited ThriveFirst Mental Health & Wellness First Responder Certification reflects this inclusive philosophy.
ThriveFirst provides culturally informed mental-health and wellness education to youth, families, caregivers, professionals, educators, healthcare workers, community leaders, workplaces, and everyday individuals.
Our guiding philosophy is:
Recognize. Empower. Support.
You do not need to be a mental-health professional to make a difference.
A ThriveFirst Mental Health First Responder can be a parent, grandparent, student, caregiver, teacher, nurse, physician, coach, coworker, neighbor, friend, entrepreneur, community leader, or anyone willing to notice, listen, support, and help connect someone to appropriate resources.
We believe mental-health awareness begins wherever people are—and often begins at home.
